How a coin turns into money in someone's Klarna, step by step, with every fee, every address and every limit.

What it is

KlarnaPaid gets crypto money to people who've never touched crypto. You launch a coin for someone by their handle: your mum, your sister, your mate, or a kol. 85% of that coin's creator fee goes into a pot for that person. When they claim it, the money is sent to their Klarna balance by phone number or email, the same way one Klarna user pays another.

Every coin is a normal pump.fun launch: a SOL pair with pump's standard creator fee. Nothing custom, nothing extra on top. The 85/15 split is set with pump.fun's own fee sharing when the coin is created, and the right to change it is given up in the same step, so nobody can redirect the fee later. Not even us.

How it works

1. Launch

On the launch page, type an handle, a name and a ticker. The picture defaults to their real picture. Connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack and sign. You pay pump.fun's normal launch cost in SOL, plus any buy you add. The coin is tied to that handle for good.

2. Trade

0.30% of every trade goes to the creator fee. 85% of it lands in their pot. That's the rate while the coin is on pump.fun's bonding curve. Pump's fee sharing splits it at the source: 85% to the person's pot, 15% to the pad. So $1m traded = $3,000 in fees = $2,550 into their pot.

3. The pot fills

Creator fees collect in pump's fee vault for the coin. A bot calls pump's public distribute step, which anyone can call, so the fees land in the pot wallet and the pad wallet. The coin page shows the pot live. One person has one pot, shared by every coin launched for them.

4. Claim

The person opens their pot page and gets a one-time code. They post it from their account, which proves the handle is theirs. Then they enter the phone number or email on their Klarna account, their country and an amount.

5. It lands in their Klarna

The amount moves on chain from their pot to the payout wallet. It's converted to euros and sent to their Klarna balance with Klarna's own send money feature. They tap “I got it” on their private receipt link when it arrives.

Sends are done by hand. Klarna has no API for sending money, so each payout goes into a queue and is sent from the KlarnaPaid Klarna account in the Klarna app. Expect it within a day, not within a minute.

Fees

85%of the creator fee goes to the person's pot. That's $2,550 per $1m traded on the curve
15%is the pad cut. It pays the euro conversion, the transfers, gas and the servers
  • The creator fee: pump.fun's standard fee on SOL pairs, the same one every pump.fun coin pays. Pump sets it, not us. Today it's 0.30% of every trade on the bonding curve. After a coin graduates to PumpSwap it's 0.95% at 420 SOL market cap, stepping down to 0.05% as the market cap grows.
  • In money: $1,000,000 traded on the curve is a $3,000 creator fee. $2,550 goes into the pot, $450 is the pad cut.
  • Claiming: free. Conversion and transfer costs come out of the pad cut, not the pot.
  • Launching: pump.fun's normal launch cost, paid by whoever launches, plus any buy they add.
  • The platform coin, Buy Now, Pump Later ($BNPL): its creator fee goes to the team. It's a separate coin and never draws from anyone's pot.

Pots

Each handle gets one pot: a normal public Solana wallet. Its balance and every transfer in and out are on Solscan, linked from the person's pot page and every coin page.

Pot wallets are held by the KlarnaPaid server. The keys are derived from one master key we keep, so pots can always be recovered. It also means you trust us to pay out what's in a pot. Money only leaves a pot for that person's own payout, and every move is a public transaction.

Claiming

  1. Open your pot at klarnapaid.fun/p/your-handle, or tap “Claim it” on any coin made for you.
  2. Tap “Get my code” and post the text it gives you from your account. You can delete the post once you're done.
  3. Tap “I posted it”. We check the post is on your account.
  4. Enter the phone number or email on your Klarna account, your country and how much to send.
  5. You get a private receipt link. Follow the payout there and tap “I got it” when it lands.

Your first payout is a small test, so you can check it arrives before the rest goes. We never ask for your Klarna password, your card or your bank details. If anything ever does, it isn't us.

Countries

Klarna's send money feature works between Klarna users in the same country. These are the countries it covers:

BelgiumDenmarkFinlandFranceGermanyItalyNetherlandsNorwayPolandPortugalSpainSwedenUK

The US isn't covered: Klarna doesn't offer sending money there.

Proof

Every payout is public on the payouts page, with three things anyone can check:

  1. The pot move: the transaction that moved the money out of the pot, linked on Solscan.
  2. The send: the euro amount and the time it was sent to their Klarna.
  3. “I got it”: the person confirming it arrived, from their private receipt link.

Phone numbers and emails are never shown anywhere public. They're stored encrypted and only used to send the payment.

Caveats

  • KlarnaPaid is not Klarna and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Klarna. Klarna can limit or close the account that sends payouts.
  • Pots are server-held wallets. You're trusting KlarnaPaid to pay out what's in them. Every move is on chain, so you can watch.
  • Payouts are sent by hand, so they take hours, not seconds. They depend on the euro conversion and on Klarna itself.
  • The fee split is locked on pump.fun at launch. Pump.fun sets the fee rate itself and can change it for every coin. The rates above were read from pump's fee config on 7 November 2026.
  • Coins are memecoins. Most go to zero. Only buy what you can lose.
  • Klarna pay in 3 and pay in 4 can't be paid off directly. The money lands in the Klarna balance and the person uses it from there.

FAQ

Do they need crypto?

No. No wallet, no exchange, no seed phrase. They need an account to post the claim code and a Klarna account in one of the 13 countries. The money lands in their Klarna balance.

Does the person have to do anything?

Only to claim. The pot fills on its own. When they want it, they post one code from their account and give the phone number or email on their Klarna.

What if they never claim?

The pot stays theirs. Nobody else can claim it, because only their account can post the code.

Can I launch one for myself?

Yes. Type your own handle.

Can the fee split change later?

No. It's set with pump.fun's fee sharing at launch and the right to change it is given up in the same step.

Why Klarna and not a wallet?

Because “a memecoin paid my Klarna” is the screenshot people post. The money lands in an app they already have.
